Today is suppose to be a scorcher here....triple digits.....

Thank goodness for Cool Air inside.    

It seems this year as the older I get the more the heat affects me.  I ache all over.......

I started Zumba classes.  Please pray for me....I will need all the help I can get.  Fun but makes me wonder where all my rythm went.  I use to dance the hours away....now trying to find the beat is a sight to behold.

It seems my garden relics are out to get me.  One managed to scrape me on my eye brow and I ended up going to get a tetnus shot.    Felt stupid......

Found last night the dog uses the cat litter for his business.  Which is great.  So I guess he has been using it for a while.  He is a silly dog.

I'll be so glad when my two granddaughters get back with their Mom....they have had a hell of a summer.....

I am reading The Girl that Played with Fire, what a good book......But only one book left in the series.  Then I found out the author died.  Drats.......I was hoping to read more of his work.....

what is going on ....

Today is another beautiful day here in the middile of Missouri.....At least the humidity is down and doesn't seem like it will be a bad day after all.

I was stabed in the eye last nite by one of my many garden relics.  I was weeding and it just up and stabbed by eyebrow.  So now I have to get a shot......

I am in a foul mood and I wish I could change it. 

Allen Reunion

I hope this will help us all to try and stay together and pass on info of what is happening in our familys.  I was so overjoyed to finally meet all the Allen Kin I never knew about.  It made me feel so happy to see so many family units become one for a day.  I hope you all will stay in touch with all of the family.....will write more of what I know of the family......

Life

Yesterday I learned of a death in the family....I knew of this person, but really never knew him.  But after talking to the person that was his best friend.....I wish I had know this person.  He sounded very nice and smart.  It just goes to show, don't listen to other people , do what one feels is right in their hearts.

I am working on a sweater and back on some genealogy now.  Sun is shining and am so ready to plant.

Where did the Sun go????

It seems the sun was out and so great and now it is in again.  I just got an email from my friend in Florida and she talked of all the company she has coming to visit.  May be it is a good thing that I live here and not some place sunny and great.  hahah.....

Played bingo and didn't win , but had a good time with friends.  Went too fast. 

A new week of new tv.....can't wait.

I've been crocheting and trying to use cotton instead of wool.  Not easy getting use to......

Here it is the end of February.....I am so glad , hopefully warmness will  be here soon. 

At work we are doing a weigh in.....I lost 2 but found it laying around this week.....I need to walk so bad.  But too cold.

Am going to go play bingo this week end.....it may be my downfall......I am desperate for entertainment.
Even played trivial pursuit last evening , beating my husband bad.

I am also crocheting .....I love the Amigurimi animals.  Made a doll and rabbit so far.  I tried an egg but it just didn't fit the bill.  Want to make Hello Kitty....I know the grand kids would love it.  But never enough time and sitting down.......

Lets all hope spring is around the corner.....as if any one will read this.......

January and snow and cold

It is still on the ground here. SNOW. This has been a cold winter so far. I hate to see what February will bring. One never knows here in Missouri.....

I've been quilting and crocheting. Why is it in the winter we want to corchet or knit? I wish I could knit, but some things [ like a lot] boggle my mind. haha...

I wish I had something to say that is meaning ful.....but I just live day to day. Watching my favorite tv shows. And reading books. Found some new authors I really like. I want to read every one of them. Waiting for the new Sookie book to come out. Can't get enough of them.
